We would highly recommend Brett! We had a small wedding and honestly didn’t think people were going to dance at our wedding. But we were completely wrong, from the moment Brett started playing music the dance floor was full the entire time. He listened to our music requests, helped with our ceremony music, and helped us stay on schedule by directing and gathering our guest through the cocktail hour and reception. He is also excellent at reading a group, he knew exactly when to slow it down for a slow song and when to get everyone moving again with a classic. Nantucket DJ Productions was an welcome addition to the Artists Association of Nantucket’s Summer Art Auction and Gala this year. Brett was nothing short of amazing when he played for our wedding. From attitude to attire, he was everything my wife & I wanted from our wedding DJ. He not only followed along with the music list I provided but also threw in some great songs that we had completely forgotten about. What I also loved was the fact he took requests from our guests which made them feel even more a part of the special evening. His announcements were well spoken and his energy on the mic to get everyone out on the dance floor was incredible. I work as a radio DJ so my standards tend to be kind of high but let me say Brett accomplished everything we were looking for. Very accommodating and reliable. Brett is very professional, and gets everyone dancing, exactly what you want from a DJ. He came early and was set up with all sound checks completed well before any guests arrived. He modulated the volume well: Loud enough to get people dancing, yet soft enough for conversation at the tables. He played the songs we specifically requested, and inferred correctly from those other’s we’d enjoy. His selections of nice soft jazz and American songbook during dinner felt relaxed and fun. Brett did an amazing job for our staff holiday party. He had appropriate music for the beginning of the night for people to mix and mingle. Brett DJ’d my wedding recently and did an awesome job! He kept everyone dancing, and had a great playlist. We only added a few suggested songs and let him do the rest and it was perfect.
